This PBS Nova presentation takes the viewer into the intriguing idea that Greece’s Parthenon was built to minimize the brain’s tendency toward optical illusions and stand as a rock among pebbles.
Secrets of the Parthenon is a Providence Pictures production for Nova and WGBH Boston in association with Studio International and ARTE France. Funding for Nova is provided by David H. Koch, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and public television viewers. Additional funding for Secrets of the Parthenon is provided by The Solow Art and Architecture Foundation.

What do 50 artists from 25 counties aged 33 and under have in common? They are mostly Younger than Jesus. The quirky idea is one of the most dynamic of its kind with each artist having a distinct mission apart from any stylistic theme. The exhibition is currently running through June 14.
