Think of New York and what comes to mind? Is it a busy sea of people rushing to make their morning trains amid a cacophony of impetuous taxi horns - the purr of bus engines and Subway trains as they collect the hurried masses with all their daily worries and concerns? Might it be the bellows the of Wall street execs willing to sell it all for a chance at the good life? Still, it might be the church bells of the faithful heard against the prayers of thousands on a single Sunday morning. Yet, all these things and more have been staples of not only today, but also have been reflected throughout time as seen in this photo montage from Magazine 13 as the website reflects back to the turn the Twentieth Century.

Old New York… from the Outskirts.
